Memorable experience We hired a beautiful catamaran for 18 people. The option with wine and cheese and charcuterie was so special. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive—they made the experience so special and fun. Would highly recommend!

Incredible Catamaran, Excellent, Reliable Service, Great Value This was our first time to Portugal, and I was slightly nervous to book a boat trip sight-unseen that required sending a deposit without knowing a lot about the company. But Vanda and Andres were super helpful and professional, and the entire experience was wonderfully smooth. A very reputable company with excellent service and a catamaran that exceeded our expectations! Private tour for 18 was an excellent value, we were taken to several amazing locations for paddleboarding and swimming, and saw so many dolphins!

A perfect day in the water! We chartered a boat from Setúbal Alive (setubalalive.com) and it was the highlight of our trip to Portugal! The boat was beautiful, clean and stocked with everything we could want. The Captain, Andre, was a wealth of information and gave us recommendations and referrals for other activities. We had a close-up experience with dolphins in the bay, swam at a small secluded beach and had a great lunch on the boat. The bay was beautiful with many historic sights along the shore and a smooth ride yet plenty of wind to sail. A great choice if you want to get out and see some sights from the water!

Amazing day with a fantastic crew Weather helped, and we had a lovely family morning. Cachondo boat is great. We have hired it just for 5 of us, but we could have taken more people. Boat is fantastic, team was great and we left them decide where to go, as the good spots depend on the tide. We went to a small island in Sado that only appears when the tide is low. Kids had great fun on the paddle boards, safe jackets and some training provided on how to use them. Thank you Paulo and Paulo Jr for your time. I recommend this if you are after an unforgettable experience for kids. I also recommend asking the crew for advice on what’s the best to do when you go on a tour. Sometimes planning on what to do and visit can’t be done, as the weather and the tide and even the size of the boat can affect what’s possible. Parking on the road very close to the dock is just 3€ for the whole day, so, very cheap and if you go early might find a place in the shade. We will repeat it again next year when we come back for holidays again! Pedro

must do boat tour! Andre was the best guide we could have asked for! We did a four hour boat tour on boat Selva (we only had 3 people and this boat was perfect). I cannot state enough how awesome this was — we went to amazing caves, several beaches and got to see a bunch of culture points (fisherman village, pretty boats etc). This is a MUST DO in Setubal and will make or break your experience. He also gave us fabulous recommendations for after and surprised us with the regions sweet wine and treats! Totally recommend!

The perfect daytrip at Setúbal / Tróia Had a great trip aboard the Cachondo - went to Arrábida coast, to the sandbank at Tróia, to the old Roman excavation site and even saw a school of dolphins. The boat was beautiful and comfortable, held plenty of drinks and was manned by a magnificent crew. Thank you so much - it was a great day and the perfect completion as well as the highlight of our vacation to Portugal.

Great sailing trip Fantastic half day thanks to a wonderful crew and great food and wines! On the way back we saw dolphins which was the icing on the cake!

Great day out with Ricardo! Although the weather was not great, and we started the day in the absolute mist, our skipper Ricardo took us to Troia where we visited an old Fishermen's village and received lots of insight information on the region. Once the sun got out it was great to be able to see this part of Portugal from the sea. We saw dophins and enjoyed a swim. Tip: ask Ricardo for the address of his parents' restaurant, fresh grilled fish and his mum maskes great desserts!
